Michael Kerrisk (man-pages) ade04bb89c Manual pages: order AUTHORS / COPYRIGHT / SEE ALSO / AVAILABILITY consistently
There is value in ensuring that manual page sections use consistently
named sections, as far as possible, and also that sections have a
consistent order within manual pages. This is one of a series of patches
to place manual page sections in a consistent order.

In this patch, we ensure that the AUTHORS, COPYRIGHT, SEE ALSO, and
AVAILABILITY sections are always placed at the end of the page.

Testing that no gross editing mistake (causing accidental loss or addition
of text) was performed as follows:

    $ cat $(grep '\.SH' -l $(find . -name '*.[1-9]') |sort) | sort > a
    [Apply patch]
    $ cat $(grep '\.SH' -l $(find . -name '*.[1-9]') |sort) | sort > b
    $ diff a b
    $ echo $?
    0

Michael Kerrisk aedd46f66e docs: various pages: Use consistent terminology (set-user-ID and set-group-ID)
Use consistent terminology for set-user-ID and set-group-ID bits.

There's much inconsistency in the pages. "suid",
"set-user-identifier", "setuid". Stick with one terminology,
"set-user-ID" and set-grout-ID, as suggested in man-pages(7).

Jim Patterson 01544c52f8 wall: add --group option
The wall command on AIX supports a "-g" option to limit the message
to a group of users by gid. Add compatibility to the Linux version.

Thanks to Sami Kerola <kerolasa@iki.fi> for an initial skeleton
implementation.

[kzak@redhat.com: - rename max to ngroups
                  - add free_group_workspace()
                  - some cosmetic changes]

Sami Kerola f7afb6b6b8 docs: add note to wall(1) about sessions which will not get message
Sessions that has in utmp data ut_line begining with ':' are skipped.
This is done to avoid write errors to devices such as '/dev/:0'. For
example wdm is reported to to generate such utmp line.

Perhaps in future this code should be revalidated. If an utmp data
contains broken device lines it might be best inform user with a error
message, rather than skipping silently suspicious device entries.

Benno Schulenberg 62246430f3 docs: also uniformize headers and footers of troff-formatted man pages
Add two spaces as the required third argument of the date line to make
the specified date get used instead of today's date. Incorporate the
section number into the page title, then use an empty section number,
so that specifying an explicit section/volume name will work.
